A Note About Storage Rate Increases

We want to be upfront: storage rates do increase from time to time.

We're a business too, and we understand that operating costs for a storage facility keep rising. Property taxes, insurance, maintenance, utilities, security, and other operating expenses all affect the cost of providing quality storage.

At Store In A Wink, we typically review our rates annually and may make adjustments when necessary. Our goal is to keep those increases reasonable and modest while continuing to provide a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility.

What we've become increasingly concerned about, however, is seeing new and long-term storage customers experience multiple significant storage rate increases in a relatively short period of time, sometimes as quickly as two months after move-in. We do not believe that's the kind of experience that builds long-term relationships or trust with customers.

We want to be good stewards of the storage industry and of the customers who trust us with their belongings.

That means operating responsibly, communicating openly, and making thoughtful decisions that allow us to run a sustainable business without losing sight of the people we serve.
